Why should I get the COVID-19 vaccine?
Last update: 21/10/2022Vaccination is one of the ways of tackling the virus. In the absence of a cure, it is, together with the use of barrier measures, the only way to protect yourself. It helps to avoid serious disease from the infection, hospitalisations, admissions to intensive care and deaths.
As Dr Jean-Michel Cucchi, President of the “Ordre des Médecins de Monaco”, explains, “for our elderly, the vaccinations are highly effective. They are therefore the most effective vaccines for the people who need them most”.
