Available stocks have been managed, ensuring that they are available to front-line healthcare staff as a priority. By way of example, since the epidemic began, no shortages of masks have been experienced by the hospital. Over the last few weeks, the health authorities have been placing orders in a very tight international market: some producer countries have blocked exports, flights have been cancelled and there has also been a degree of fraud to contend with. Today, the Government is in a position to consolidate secure supply lines for masks.

Now that supplies have improved, the Government’s aim is to provide the country’s 38,000 residents with reusable masks. Employees in Monaco will be given single-use masks. This will ensure that as many people as possible will have masks when the lockdown can start to be lifted.
