Do I need to present a negative COVID-19 test to go to Italy?

Last update: 15/07/2021

It all depends on where you plan to go in Italy.

Currently, if you are traveling for less than 24 hours to an Italian destination that is less than 60km from your home, a negative PCR test is not required. On the other hand, if you want longer and / or further in Italy, the health pass will be required.

You will also need to complete the traceability form available here: https://app.euplf.eu/#/

Find the details of the measures applying to entry into Italian territory by following this link: http://www.italia.it/fr/informations-utiles/mise-a-jour-covid-19-informations-utiles -for-tourists.html

You can also check your personal situation by answering the interactive questionnaire put online by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Italian or English): https://infocovid.viaggiaresicuri.it/index_en.html
