How will tests go on?
Last update: 16/06/2020The Principality has the capacity to conduct PCR tests in Monaco through Princess Grace Hospital, which has two machines, and the Scientific Centre, which can carry out 80 tests per day. We also have 5,000 initial serological tests, which are currently being analysed. Nearly 40,000 are now being delivered.
The idea is to conduct very large-scale testing of the population. The protocol for this is currently being worked out.
Symptomatic people are a priority, along with those who have been in contact with someone who has tested positive. Testing will then be extended to defined groups depending on the availability of tests, the quality of which will be checked.
