Can I and why use the Ariane portal?
Last update: 14/02/2022However, in order to improve its response system to crisis situations, the Crisis Center of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEFA) has designed a portal allowing French and Monegasque travelers, who so wish, to declare their travel arrangements free of charge and easily.
The goal is for the MEFA or the Embassy of the country concerned to be able to quickly identify and locate French and / or Monegasque nationals who are in the country at the time of the crisis and can contact them in the event that relief operations would be organized.
By using Ariane, during your trip, and if the situation in the country justifies it:
- you will receive information and safety instructions by e-mail or SMS
- the contact person designated on your account may also be notified if necessary
