Directory of healthcare professionals offering tele-consultation
Last update: 29/04/2020To help you comply with social distancing measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus, the Prince’s Government is stepping up the development of telemedicine in the Principality, making changes to the regulations in this area and helping health professionals to acquire a teleconsultation solution.
Below is a list of all health professionals in the Principality offering teleconsultations and their contact details. You will also find the answers to frequently asked questions about teleconsultation.
Remote consultations are charged at the same rate as face-to-face consultations, in line with the existing agreement and the ministerial decisions taken for the duration of measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
If you are insured with the Social Services Compensation Fund (CCSS), Sickness, Accident and Maternity Insurance for the Self-Employed (CAMTI) or State Medical Benefits Office (SPME), the same reimbursement rate as for face-to-face consultations will apply.
Exceptionally, your treatment form will be sent on paper by the doctor who carried out the teleconsultation to the health insurance fund of which you are a member, using the unpaid fee procedure.
Your doctor will recover any patient contribution that is due.
You are not required to sign the treatment form.
Yes. The idea behind teleconsultations is to allow you to see your doctor as you would face-to-face.
Your doctor may issue a prescription (for medicine or additional tests) following your consultation.
This may be sent by post or electronically.
Treatment that is prescribed following a teleconsultation is covered in the same way as normal according to current regulations.
You can use the teleconsultation service of your choice, as long as it offers an adequate level of security for your patients.
